  • Live edge slabs

  • Rough cut lumber

  • Siding

  • Posts

  • Hardwood beams

How do we dry the wood?

Once the wood is cut, you can pick it up from us or have us deliver it. The wood needs air around it to begin drying. It should be sticker and stacked on a flat, dry area away from the rain. Stacking it in a sunny spot also helps speed up the drying process. A heavy stack helps keep the boards straight as they dry.

You can leave it there til dry or pick it up in 2-4 weeks and take it to a kiln service.

For lumber to be used in outside applications, you should put up the lumber and let it dry in place.

What sizes can you mill into lumber?

We can mill logs into lumber:

  • Up to 20ft in length

  • Lumber thickness 1/4” and up to 12” or more for large beams

  • The width can be up to 36”

How do we get the logs to you?

It would be best if you delivered the logs by flatbed truck, trailer or truck.

Do you offer delivery of the lumber?

Yes, the price depends on the distance but feel free to get in touch with us for a delivery quote.

How does the lumber come?

The lumber is banded in a stack on a pallet and can be collected from us, or we can deliver it for an extra fee depending on the distance.

Can you sticker and stack the lumber?

Yes, but this will cost a bit extra. Please get in touch for an estimated price.

Can you bring your mill to our site?

Yes, but the site must have room and footing for the mill. We can also provide equipment to move the logs and help to move the cut lumber, or you can provide these resources.

How much lead time before our logs can be milled?

This is typically about two weeks, but once we know the scope of work, we’ll be able to give you a more exact time frame.
